MT WILLIAM/WUKALINA NATIONAL PARK
The wukalina Walk is a three night - four day fully inclusive guided journey that traverses the cultural homeland of the palawa people. The Walk is owned and operated by palawa, and its purpose is to celebrate and share the entirely distinctive history and culture of the Tasmanian Aboriginal people.Up to ten people are welcomed onto our land by Aboriginal guides, and escorted across the natural landscape of the Bay of Fires (larapuna).
Stay in purpose built huts in our standing camp, spend a night in the lighthouse keeper’s cottage at larapuna, and dine on traditional foods, including mutton bird and damper. Guests are given a truly unique insight into personal journeys, creation stories, and a history of over 60 000 years, while engaging with cultural practices passed down for hundreds of generations.
